1- Collect all monies at the time of the order

2- Try and get as much of it in cash as possible

3- Any checks collected should be made out to "Cash" or to you

4- Once all monies are collected, please deposit into your checking account and make ONE personal check out for the total amount to "Troop 114"
This check is to be turned in with your completed order form

All orders are due by October 28

Orders need to be picked up on December 6 at Beachwood Elementary

We are asking for $5.00 per person or $20.00 for a family for dinner

We will have covered areas if it rains

This is an event not to miss. The scouts will cook a Thanksgiving Meal. All scout families are invited to enjoy in the feast.  Please give us the number of people from your family the will be attending the dinner at the next troop meeting.  We need this number so we can buy the right amount of food.  This has been a great event in the past.

Holiday Party and Baked Goods Auction

We will be raffling off gift baskets with the themes of::

Scout Basket - could use items for camping ie: camp chair, compass, hand warmers, mess kit, flashlight, snacks, etc

Games and/or movie basket - DVDs, games, snacks, drinks, etc

Spa basket(s) - lotions, nail care, hair care, foot care, candles, romance book, etc

Snowman / Winter basket

Cat basket & Dog basket - leashes, bowls, toys, carpet sprays, treats, etc

Baking / Cooking basket - mixes, pans, mitts, towels, mixes, etc

Boys basket 

Girls basket

Each scout is responsible to bring at least 1 gift to be put in the gift baskets

Plus we could use large baskets or laundry baskets to put the stuff in.


We will be having our annual Holiday Party and Bake Goods Auction during the troop meeting.  We will be auctioning off  baked items.

Each scout is responsible  to bring at least 2 baked items to the auction

St. Paul Food Pantry supplies are depleted.  The shelves are almost bare and there are always calls from the hungry needing food.  The pantry urgently needs the following items:

Canned Stews
Canned Chile Con Carne (whole meal)
Canned Juice
Canned Fruit
Canned Tuna Fish
Canned Baked Beans
Crackers
Jelly (No glass jars, please)
Powdered Milk
Boxed Macaroni & Cheese

All donations may be left in the donation bin in the hall on the left  Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation.

1st Troop Meeting of the Month

At each first troop meeting of the month Scouts must wear their class A's (full uniform) to the troop meeting.  All other troop meeting scout must wear their class B's (red scout shirt) ... unless instructed otherwise

Troop Dues

We would like to remind all scouts that are behind on their dues to bring them to this meeting...We want to get our dues up to date

Dues are $10 per month from Sep - Jun   Dues accrue the first of every month. Some parents send their scouts to the meetings with $10 every month and some pay for a period of time or a full year ($100) up front. The choice is yours.

NOTE
As of  September 9, 2014 the dues per month will be $10.00  but will only be collect from Sep - Jun  This is 10 payments which is a total of $100.00 per year

Board of Review

There are three things to do before you go for a Board of Review

#1
When all your requirements are completed for your rank.  Please see one of the assistant scoutmasters to go over all your requirement

#2
When you have the ok of the assistant scoutmaster then see Mr Goddard for a scoutmasters conference.

#3
If he says you are ready then set up a time for your board of review with the Advancement Coordinator

When going for a board of review. Please bring items that you will need to show your skills (handbook, compass and map, rope, etc).  Go over the requirements and review.  Remember Class A Uniform

Mrs King is collecting any boy scout uniforms that you do not need any more to give them to other scouts in the troop who can use them ... and you can check with her if you need something
